What is PCTWC?
Founded in 1976, the Pima County/Tucson Women’s Commission is dedicated to education and advocacy on issues impacting women and girls in our community. Comprised of commissioners appointed by the Tucson Mayor & Council and the Pima County Board of Supervisors, the Commission serves as an advisory body to local government, working toward equity and equality for women.
Historically, our focus areas have included creating and sharing domestic violence resources, celebrating women in government, hosting young women's leadership programs, and spreading information about women’s wellness. The Commission also serves as a vital resource, connecting women and girls to information and support on issues that affect them.
